This drawing of Cusco, Peru was done by Guaman Poma in his 1616 work "El Primer Nueva Corónica y Buen Gobierno." The caption on the top says, in archaic Spanish, "The Great City and Head of the Royal Court of the Twelve Incas, Santiago of Cusco in the Middle of the Kingdon and the Diocese."
