This is an enlarged print of a map from an early auto guide book published in 1914. This version includes a "printed" green mat border and title that makes it ready to frame. It is set for a 16 x 20 size. If you want 16 x 20, select customize or “add image and text” and set to 16x20. There is also a version of this with a plain white background and title. The “Hamilton’s Illustrated Auto Roadmap” book had 200 strip maps of California and included small photos of landmarks along the way. In today’s world of super highways, the instructions on these maps seem comical but to the motor pioneer of 1914, they were very valuable. Published before the days of AAA books and guides. A fun reprint of automobile history! Note the Old RR Snow sheds used as roads. See gallery for more information and maps.
