Thanks for your input, however, being a girl that grew up in the 80's, I can attest to the fact that they were indeed popular in the eighties as well. Maybe not for a LONG stretch of time but they were. Here's a little Wikipedia quote for you "Stereo 8, commonly known as the eight-track cartridge, eight-track tape, or eight-track, is a magnetic tape sound recording technology, popular from the mid-1960s to the early 1980s, primarily in the US" But thanks again for the input. :o)

Umm I hate to tell you this, but 8 track tapes were popular in the 1970's not the 1980's.
