2011 Scripture Calendar
This 2011 Scripture Calendar features lots of new designs by your shopkeeper, Cheryl Rogers, including some newer photos and familiar photos with new Scriptures. As always, the Scriptures are from the King James Authorized Version. Here is the breakdown:

2011 Scripture Poster Cover -- This photo shows the tranquil Hillsborough River, with a colorful raintree on the right side. January -- January features the popular Scripture from Jeremiah 29: 11: "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." The photo shows the Hillsborough River at Riverhills Park during the winter when the trees are bare.

February -- This features a short but sweet Scripture from 1 John 4:8: "God is love." The photo is a gorgeous red Don Juan rose still wet from the rain.

March -- This month features a verse from Psalm 17:8: "Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings." The photo shows a pelican in flight, with outstretched wings. It looks like it's ready to give a hug.

April -- This month features a verse from Ecclesiastes 1:9: "there is no new thing under the sun." The photo shows the Hillsborough River and sky bathed in the golden light of the sun at sunset.

May -- The month of May has a Scripture verse from Ecclesiastes 7:9: "Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools." The photo is a close-up of a bright yellow canna lily.

June -- This month includes a Scripture from Ecclesiastes 9:2: "All things come alike to all..." The photo, edited for artistic effects, shows a yellow Tiger Swallowtail butterfly drinking nectar from a blue plumbago flower. The frosted effect emphasizes the Scripture quote.

July -- The month of July contains a Scripture from Psalms 127: 2: "t is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep." The photo show the sun rising on the Gulf of Mexico at Pensacola Beach, Florida.

August -- This month features a Scripture from the Song of Solomon 2: 10-12: "My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away. "For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone; "The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land." The photo shows a lovely blue morning glory photographed on Sanibel Island, Florida.

September -- The featured Scripture this month is from Job 34:32: "That which I see not teach thou me..." The picture shows a wild duck on the Hillsborough River at Riverhills Park in Temple Terrace, Florida.

October -- This month features a Scripture quote from Deuteronomy 29:9: "Keep therefore the words of this covenant, and do them, that ye may prosper in all that ye do." The picture shows a Zebra Longwing butterfly drinking nectar from a dwarf Royal Poinsiana tree.

November -- This month features a verse from Deuteronomy 30:19: "I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live." The picture shows a lavender lily with dying leaves at Eureka Springs Park in Tampa, Florida.

December -- This month has a Scripture from Deuteronomy 32:4: "He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he." The photo was taken at Spouting Horn Park in Kauai, Hawaii, and shows the rocky shore of the Pacific Ocean.
