Introducing project “Military Insignia”, featuring top quality military heraldry designs. Here you will find designer apparel, accessories, custom postage and gifts decorated with insignia of the 46th Military Police Command.
The 46th Military Police Command is a command level military police headquarters element within the Michigan Army National Guard capable of training, deploying, and providing command and control for military police, corrections, and criminal investigation division (CID) units.
Command’s mission is to provide command and control for the operational/tactical planning, supervision, coordination and integration of assigned or attached Military Police Combat Support and Interment/Resettlement Brigades and other Military Police units engaged in Army, Joint, and Multinational Military Police operations in support of the Army/Combatant Commander's priorities.
The distinctive unit insignia was approved on 21 November 2006. Green and yellow are the branch colors associated with the Military Police Corps. The key is a symbol of providing security and the double wards are in the shape of the roman numerals four and six to represent the unit’s numerical designation, the handle of the key imitates the hexagonal shape of the unit’s shoulder sleeve insignia. The griffin’s head represents supervision, vigilance, and readiness, while the sword stands for strength and combat power.
