As the creator of The 5 Principles of Authentic Living and the Authenticity Accelerator workshops and retreats, I wanted to produce a line of beautiful, useful, and practical products branded with our distinctive logo.

I trust that these products will provide reminders and support for people who are using the 5 Principles as a means to live a truly authentic life.

I love these products. I have every one, and I use them every day. I love the compliments I get about my tote bag, and I love giving those people a magnet, which I always carry with me and tend to give out freely to people who express an interest in the 5 Principles.

For those of you who have not come to this Store through the Authenticity Accelerator website, here is a short "history" of The 5 Principles of Authentic Living:

After more than 40 years of dedicated self-study through a variety of ways and means, including many years of intensive meditation and self-inquiry, I've distilled what I've experienced and learned into 5 Principles set out in 10 words, which I have named.

The 5 Principles of Authentic Living:

1. Be Present
2. Pay Attention
3. Listen Deeply
4. Speak Truthfully
5. Act Creatively

Even before I was consciously aware of doing so, I was living and speaking and working from these five principles. From them, my life and work poured out of me in a profoundly improvisational, often magical, way; always sudden and unexpected, but always practical and relevant to the matter at hand.

With these 5 Principles I found the fulfillment of my search for self-knowledge, for meaning and truth, for my place in the world. From the time I was 11 years old, I have wondered "Who am I?" and "How shall I live?" These 5 Principles revealed the answers, and they continue to illuminate my path, moment by moment, effortlessly and flawlessly. I am never lost or confused. I always know where to go and what to do, just as I know when to be still and do nothing.

With these 5 Principles as my mentors, I know how to live authentically. I am able to remain awake and alert and keenly aware of life from the inside out, and from the outside in. I know how to tap into and touch the very core of my inner creative consciousness and power, and I know how to express the many facets of that core in unique and enlivening ways.

From these 5 Principles, I have received the clarity, energy, and confidence to do what I didn't know I knew how to do. I made all this up from my own inner authority: hundreds of talks and teaching seminars, creative projects like Catalysts for Clarity (1986), Hamsa Institute for Enlightened Leadership (1990), Truth for President (2003), Radical Sages (2004), RealTime Speaking (2006), Authenticity Accelerator (2010), books (8) and articles (200+).

All the contributions I've made to people in my various professional roles — author, self-awareness teacher, organizational consultant, leadership advisor, public speaking guru, spiritual activist, personal mentor — have come from these 5 Principles.

In 2010, I realized that all of the many effects I have produced in my life — the inner expansion and the outer productivity — have come from a single cause: The 5 Principles of Authentic Living. In a flash of recognition, I knew it was time to speak about and teach the cause, rather than continuing to offer effects. Thus, Authenticity Accelerator was born.

I'm delighted to share The 5 Principles of Authentic Living with you, because I know in my heart that you can use them to the same great good that I have. I've field-tested them for many years, in more circumstances and conditions than I can remember, while traveling throughout the world. They work. They take you straight to the wellspring of revelation, profound insight, and magical action. The rest is up to you; after all, you have to self-author your own authentic life.
