On September 19.2001, 8 days after 9/11, Londons Times Cartoons founded "CAT...Cartoonists Against Terrorism". At first Londons Times creators contributed and within months we were receiving contributions from some of the top cartoonists from around the world. Our original plans in 2001 was to publish a cartoon compilation book and 100% of the proceeds would benefit the families of our fallen firefighters and policepersons for an education fund. Sadly, the publishing industry in NYC had come to a standstil. The project was put on hold. Several years later POD (Print On Demand) became popular for products such as these; tees, mugs, totes, etc. So we are reconstructing the site to launch in time for the ten year anniversary of 9/11. 100% of all proceeds will go to benefit the families of those most affected by 9/11. The families of the heroes, the police and firefighters, many of whom risked (and lost their lives) for the rest of us. Thank you for shopping with us, and making a difference in the world.
