I have been creating art almost as long as I could walk and talk. Working traditionally and digitally, I enjoy pulling aspects from "the real world' and placing them into fantastic ones! It can be a daunting task to bring new and interesting creatures to life in the visually rich world we live in today. That is why I'm a student of suggestion. I take a blank piece of paper, a free moving hand, and the will to make decisions quickly. I freely scribble around making odd marks and shapes. There is no rhyme or reason to it at first, my hand just moves the way it wants to. Before I know it, I have a couple odd marks and shapes that start to relate to each other. It's these relationships that suggest the decisions I make as an artist. Sometimes the shapes and relationships suggest a giant demon warrior. Sometimes they suggest a gorgeous blond. Or as in the case of my barbarian pin-ups, they suggested both! As in life, it's not the destination but the journey that touches us. Every piece I create is a journey through a series of decisions. Every piece is a gift of discovery through my unique choices and I hope those who view it enjoy the journey as much as I do.
