Founded in 1969, Special Olympics Southern California is a nonprofit organization that empowers individuals with intellectual disabilities to become physically fit, productive and respected members of society through sports training and competition.
Special Olympics Southern California offers 12 sports and numerous opportunities for advanced competition throughout the year. Special Olympics changes lives through the power of sport and reaches beyond the athletes who participate.
