INTI RUNAKUNAQ WASIN is a not for profit organization in Cusco, Peru with a mission to contribute to the integral development of children, adolescents, and young people with special needs. All find themselves in high risk situations due to extreme poverty, being abandoned, or being victims of some form of family violence.

For eight years, Inti has been offering voluntary educational services to children and adolescents. These development, creative, and vocational programs are offered in the mornings and afternoons. Since 2006, Inti has initiatied a pilot program for children and adolescents with special needs. These special needs children participate alongside the other children of Inti in the following workshops: leatherwork, sewing, embroidery, jewelry making, cooking and baking.

These special needs children are responsible for the creation of all artwork displayed in this gallery. All proceeds from the sale of this artwork will be donated to Inti Runakunaq Wasin to further its mission.
