Christian G. Marra was born on a cold 6th of January in 1972, in Trento, north of Italy. After the diploma at Scientific Liceum Leonardo Da Vinci, he went to Milan in 1991 and got the Brera Accademy of Fine Arts degree in 1995. He has worked as graffitist, drawing teacher to childs, illustrator, joining to different artshows and to many charitable meetings.
In the comic world he has collaborated with some italian cartoonists. From 2003 he works as storyboard artist and illustrator with the most important italian houses of commercial ads productions and international directors.
And 'cause he hasn’t lost love for comics and will to drawn it, in 2007 he estabilished Passenger Press, a little but tenacious independent comics label to produce The Passenger, a cross-over magazine where movies become comics http://passengerpress.bigcartel.com.The Passenger is a new kind of making comics. The unpublished stories of directors, working for the cinema and advertising industry, come alive thanks to illustrators deriving from all kinds of schools. The synergy between personality and vision creates something completely new, something that ranges between surreal poems, intimism and transgression.
The Passenger is a diary where you can find stories which you won't be able to read in other places. Sketches and thoughts on a traveller's notebook who is wandering about without destination, just for the pleasure of loosing himself within a boundless space.
