Vermont Farmers Market was created by Glenn Conant Studios with the sole purpose of celebrating the farming life in Vermont.
Being located in the greater Burlington, Vt. area, we are constantly able to celebrate the magnificence of the farmlands around us. The deep blue skies, the green grass and the majesty of the green mountains and Lake Champlain.
We will primarily feature produce and floral images, as well as farming and country scenes shot here in Vermont.

Our mission is to spend as much time as possible outdoors, hiking, swimming and photographing nature when we can, so that we are continually amazed by the beauty of our Vermont surroundings..

An Old Vermont Farmer's Wisdom



Your fences need to be horse high, pig tight and bull strong.

Keep skunks and bankers at a distance.

A bumble bee is considerably faster than a John Deere tractor.

Don't judge folks by their relatives.

If you dig yourself a hole, the first thing to do is stop digging.

Don't interfere with something that isn't bothering you.

Sometimes you get, and sometimes you get got.

Always drink upstream from the herd.

Good judgement comes from experience; a lot of that comes from bad judgement.

Remember that silence is sometimes the best answer.

Timing has a lot to do with the outcome of a rain dance.

Live a good, honorable life. Then when you get older and think back, you'll enjoy it a second time.
