"A Heart Broken Never Forgets"

Original Title "October's Dying Heart". This piece has a deep meaning that is difficult to explain, but was strangely easy to create. An abstract work done in dark tones to symbolize the slow destruction of that which was light and beautiful.

One detail of significance is the leftover leaves, not many, which cling tenaciously to the dark and gloomy branches, unable or unwilling to release their grasp, no matter the force or chill of the wind that cuts through them. The leaves do not seem to realize that the pain would be greatly lessened upon their release from the shivering branches.
