If the Republicans are the party of the rich, and the Democrats represent the poor and oppressed... Elections are won by having as many people as possible vote for your party's candidate. In order to win elections the Republican Party needs to do things that enable as many people as possible become and stay rich. What does the Democrat party need to do to keep as many people as possible voting for them?

What about every Hollywood actor , billionaire George Soros and Bill Gates. ALL DEMOCRATS!!! The richest cities, New York and LA always vote Democrat. The RED states are mostly the middle class.
