Casting your mind back two or three centuries, it is easy to imagine Blind Pugh's cane tapping on the cobblestones as he approaches the inn to deliver the dreaded 'Black Spot' to Captain Flint's old shipmate, Billy Bones. From original watercolour by Christine Hudson.
