A beautiful lighthouse on Admiralty Head, located at Fort Casey State Park on Whidbey Island, Washington. It was built in 1861 and after decades of service, was decommissioned in 1927. It has been restored through the years and now serves as a wonderful interpretive center for visitors to the park. Would love to hear the tales it could tell of the days of tall ships and gales that must have wracked those shores! Photographed in very low light -- nightfall.
