In May of '05 I visited the Fort Worth Texas Nature Center and Animal Refuge and took several photographs of the area while there. It's more of a hiking adventure than a drive through. This secluded park bench was near one of several waterways there and was a welcome site as the temperature that day was climbing to a bit over one hundred.

This looks like it is off in a very remote location.

So it is interesting to read that it's in a preserve in the middle of a big city. Very nice photo.

Afternoon Shade in the Forest

As I look at this scene in the photograph, an outstanding thought comes to mind, and I want to share it with you and see if you agree with me on this. It is God saying, "I am here, so where are you?" Nothing less could be so beautiful and peaceful looking. There is peace rest in God!
