Everything Christmas is yours for the asking!

Christmas is such a magical time of year and my all time favorite season. It begins with setting up the Christmas Village on November 1 and finishing all of the village touches that first week of MY Christmas season. Christmas cards are mailed always on December first, and yes, there IS a Christmas letter. Our Christmas Ornament Breakfast is a tradition from 1989 that began as a Christmas Tree Breakfast. The family met for Breakfast and then we all went to Rick's Christmas Tree Lot and picked out our trees. The guys drove a truck house to house delivering and setting up the trees while the women all supervised ..."no, just a bit to the left" ... "oops, too much - just a little scooch to the right". After trying to go "green" and everyone had their own artificial trees, the breakfast changed to a Christmas Ornament Breakfast where my hubby and I present all of the kids and grandkids and family and dear friends who have become our family, with an ornament picked especially for them. Later in the season, our Holiday Open House allows us to visit with old and new friends. And our holiday season continues until the end of December. I like to draw it out as long as possible!
