Altadavin Glen Mouse Pads
by CowboyCraic
Along my drive between Tynan and Co. Donegal, I spotted a sign which read "St Patrick's Chair & Well". I turned off to go in search of these ancient sites. As I wandered deeper into the Altadavin Forest, I came across this wonderful cottage ruin. Its ancient energy made me stop and park. It spoke to me of hearth, home and a life once lived fully. I spent an hour exploring and photographing this cottage. I never made it to the other Ancient sites which had grabbed my attention originally. I will save them for another time. They say that Druids once walked this Glen. From the energy emanating from this cottage ruin, I would have to say that they still walk here.

this is beautiful and your description really pulls the reader into the image. I love it, my nanny was born in Dublin Ireland. I hope to travel to Ireland myself some day!
