Along my drive between Tynan and Co. Donegal, I spotted a sign which read "St Patrick's Chair & Well". I turned off to go in search of these ancient sites. As I wandered deeper into the Altadavin Forest, I came across this wonderful cottage ruin. Its ancient energy made me stop and park. It spoke to me of hearth, home and a life once lived fully. I spent an hour exploring and photographing this cottage. I never made it to teh other Ancient sites which had grabbed my attention originally.
