ONCE A COWBOY...

Once a Cowboy…Always a Cowboy,
It’s born into the blood,
It takes a man’s true measure,
through rain-storm, wind and flood.

It knows no age or gender,
you receive just what you earn,
By stepping up, taking hold of the reins,
and never complaining about your turn.

It’s a sacred eternal connection,
as man and horse meet eye to eye,
And our spirits experience freedom,
as we break loose and fly.

It’s being unashamed to pray,
to give thanks for this holy place;
It’s a light in the heart that guides us,
as we live through and in God’s grace,

Once a Cowboy…Always a Cowboy,
no matter how long the day,
It’s what we do, it’s who we are
and we won’t have it any other way.
