BBIggs, there are other ways to serve our country and our communities you know. Obama spent three years with a Christian group serving the community as *gasp* a community organizer. He helped people who were laid off from their jobs, provided education classes for people who were looking for better jobs. He was, and continues to be for the working class. As for McCain, he gives a lot of lip service but his record proves that he does not stand up for veterans. Obama does. Disabled American Veterans keeps track of how all the senators vote and on veterans issues Obama voted for veterans 80% and supported the GI bill. McCain was at 20% sadly and he did not support the GI Bill. But please, dont take my word for it. Do the research yourself. Go to the Disabled American's Veterans website and look at the scorecard. Veterans issues are very important to me and McCain has failed in that respect.

Although I honor McCain for being a vet, a hero doesn't necessarily mean a great President for our country. At this time America desperately needs REAL change and McCain cannot deliver that, nor does he want to.
