Americana - Store - At the local grocers Photo Card
The corner market as seen in the 1930's, changes a lot from the typical general store of the 1800's. Now it's more refined, they sell meat, fruit, candy and can goods. Cut something cut by hand on that nice cutting block. Conveniently, the floor tilts ever so much to where the food is, no doubt to encourage sales. Note how the sweet fruit is low enough for the children to get at it... Pretty smart huh?
