These are all dogs from my home town. Their pictures have been transformed into an artist fractal photograph.

Unfortunately, the dog on the right, (February image) was stolen from her yard the day after this picture was taken. It is believed she was stolen to utilize for breeding. After discovering she is spayed, she will most likely become "bait" for she is so passive and submissive. For example, she didn't want to sit or stand up to have her picture taken, only wanting to lay down on the ground and relax soaking up the sun rays. The real irony and shame is, she was rescued as a puppy from the streets of Denver after the unfair discriminatory Breed Specific Legislation ( BSL ) went in effect.

America's favorite dog, the American Pit Bull Terrier, has a long history of serving his country and a "Hero" dog. This calendar supports measures against breed specific legislation.

Helen Keller had a pit bull as a family pet. Dakota is a pit bull search and rescue who searched for the remains of the astronauts who lost their lives in explosion of the space shuttle Columbia.

Popsicle, who received his name after police found him in a freezer during a drug raid, is famous for sniffing out drugs for the DEA.

A pit bull rescued in South Los Angeles by County Fire Station 14 during 1985 was the station's mascot for years.
