Ancient Britain & Ireland 2012 Wall Calendar by TisdaleGallery

There's a magic to Britain and Ireland that has captured our interest for a long time. It's the prehistoric sites in these places like Stonehenge, Newgrange, and Tara that have captured our interest like no others in Europe. Some of these sites are on a par with the pyramids of Egypt in age but even more mysterious. These places existed before written record and have come down to us cloaked in legends and mythic lore.

I've been to Britain five times in the past eight years and spent a month in Ireland recently. The photos and textured photo-art in this calendar capture the feeling of some of the fantastic sites I've seen there. In the interest of devoting the calendar to the art, I've only placed titles for each piece, but these titles will lead to more background details with a simple internet search - a fun educational moment each month where you can learn more about the places in Ireland & Britain featured in this calendar.
