A Squirrel's Tale Wildlife Rehabilitation Inc.
A Squirrel’s Tale began on Labor Day, 1999 with the rescue of a baby squirrel. Our first state permit was issued in 2000 with incorporation taking place in 2002 and IRS 501(c)(3) status was received in early 2003. Our primary focus is on Sciuridae, and to that end we take in orphaned and abandoned baby squirrels, raise them, then release them back into their natural environments. We also care for injured adults as well as various other small, native Michigan wild mammals.
All proceeds from our Zazzle Store are immediately placed into our non-profit. Use of monies include but are not limited to: feeding, housing, vet care and medicinal needs of our little guests.
Wildlife rehabilitators receive no monies from anywhere but public donations. All care we provide our little guests is out of pocket, so donations of any kind are always welcome.
This site is dedicated to
Sunny, our first visitor so many years ago. My beloved familiar.
We're a brand new store and will be opened shortly. We expect to get this place up and running in January 2011. We'll be adding product daily, starting with cards. We're a total work in progress.
Please visit our website for more information on how you can help the planets wildlife.
