Hello, and welcome to my South West Florida.

I am an eclectic Imager residing in South West Florida, on the Gulf Coast. I love photographing Birds, Butterflies and Nature in general.

The images you see in my store of our local, and migratory birds, various flora and fauna are my own, photographed on location, sometimes after many hours of preparation and waiting. Geographically I am an hour or so drive from Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge located on Sanibel Island. I am likewise near Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary and CREW lands - both part of our fragile Everglades Watershed. I am near Harns Marsh in Lehigh Acres, and near SIx Mile Slough in Fort Myers. I spend many hours patrolling retention ponds and favorite roadside areas searching for the sometimes transient wading bird populations.


In addition to Nature Photography, I enjoy Creative Photography. Using both my Nikon D40 and iPhone 3Gs I obtain amazing imagery of the sky and other topics.. I am fluent in the use of PhotoShop and Aperture as well as several other image editing programs. I spend many hours a day doing Photography and processing my images - my camera is merely an extension of my arm... an extension of my vision. Cameras go everywhere with me.
