I live in an area where I see first hand that only multi millionaires will be able to own property someday. As a school teacher, will I be able to keep my home ?The people who worked hard and saved all their lives are being taxed out. The people who worked hard all their lives and should be able to retire in their homes can't afford the taxes on their retirement. The last tax hike almost tripled the property taxes - TRIPLED. My stand on this issue is for everyone (every political affiliation, race, gender) who has worked hard, sacrificed, paid the dues, and will not be able to hold on to what they rightfully earned. I am observing this first hand. If things continue as they are, again, only the extremely wealthy will be able to afford the taxes here. There will be no "middle class" in the community they built. The middle class will move to other areas where they can afford the taxes ... which will affect homeowners living in those areas - eventually driving them out ... and it will snowball ... a domino effect ... affecting everyone .................... so thank you for standing firm on this issue !
