"Male Call" was a B-24H Liberator with the 8th USAAF best known by the fact that Hollywood actor Jimmy Stewart flew it on several bombing missions during the war. Most don't realize that Stewart rose to the rank of Colonel by the end of WWII, and retired from the Air Force Reserve in 1968. He was promoted Brigadier General in 1959. In 1966, Gen. Stewart flew as an observer in a B-52 during a bomb run over Vietnam! He also flew B-58's!
