Beautiful, clear day for photographing this event. Some more recent years have been a bit overcast... not bad, just not that clear, blue, perfect day. Unfortunately, in July it is very hot & humid here, so it is common to have thundershower or clouds roll in, in the evening hours, which is when the balloons take off.... not to mention that humid haze.
