The other day I was watching my kids playing in the local pool, and as I watched there were a bunch of older ladies swimming lengths in the next lane over. One old lady had this great bathing cap that was covered all over in plastic flowers, she wore goggles and had on a floral bathing suit. As she swam the flowers on her bathing camp kinda swirled and whirled around her head and I'll admit that I had a hard time not laughing right out loud. Anyway she thought she looked quite beautiful as she sashayed by on her way to the hot tub, plastic flowers flapping with each step, and all I could think about is how eccentric people become as they get older. I hope I am so lucky - it looks like fun!
