Bears on 11 Spring Street Skate Deck
by indevisual
December 16th, 2006 marked the end of a major chapter in NYC street art history, as 11 Spring Street in SoHo saw its final days. Artists from all over the world came to pay one last tribute to the iconic building with spray cans, markers, throw-ups, and other mixed media...turning every inch, inside and out, into one of the most spectacular displays of street art ever seen. Two days later the building would begin its transformation into new condominiums, and the very last pieces of art would disappear forever. This was my contribution to its beautiful final facade.
