Describes themself as: I'm a little bit geek and a whole lot of silly. I'm a stay at home mama, married my high school sweetie and enjoy volunteering at my son's school library. I aspire to be either Chewbacca or a published writer/illustrator, whichever comes first…maybe both! I've begun my first novel and am working on writing and illustrating my own children’s books and I have really long hair so I guess I’m halfway to both goals!

Personal Interests: Even in my spare time I love to paint and draw. I also enjoy destroying aliens and exploring the realms of fantasy while playing video games. Writing and is a hobby for now but I hope it will become something more soon. So when I'm not blowing up spaceships (either on my TV or in my imagination) I love knitting, and watching the Science Channel or reruns of Star Trek with my pain the butt Dachshunds who run my world.

Artistic Interests: I mostly use gouache and acrylic but crayon and colored pencils have a wonderful way of bringing my art to life.
