I converted my original photograph Bokeh in Spring to a lovely mix of light to dark blue overlapping translucent circles. "Bokeh" is a Japanese word which describes a pleasing pattern in the out-of-focus areas of a photograph. The dots are referred to as "circles of confusion" in photography.
I took this photo on a sunny spring day looking up through a leafy canopy and made it a cyanotype.
35 mm, color.
Negative scanned at 4000 DPI to create a 5600 x 3657 pixel image.
