Hubble photograph of the NGC 6302 Nebula

This is a Hubble Space Telescope image of the Bug Nebula (or Butterfly Nebula), with wing-shaped gas clouds in striking shades of red-orange and white. This nebula is approximately 3800 light years from Earth, in the Scorpius constellation.
