Describes themself as: I am both artist and photographer, having studied Advanced Visual Display after a very creative childhood. My greatest learning has come from pursuing anything that inspires me and being willing to be playful, discover and make mistakes - which often become the most enchanting part of a work!
Having been one of only two artists to sell on the opening night of my first exhibition at age 17, I shifted attention to commissions - an undertaking which never fails to take my work in new and unexpected directions. My style evolves continuously reflecting an enduring desire to advance knowledge and improve upon that which has already been created. Having begun with watercolours, inks and acrylics, I have since moved to mostly working with oil paints or charcoal. I just love the creaminess of oils and the crisp scrape of charcoal. Around 2003, I returned to photography in order to capture subjects to paint in my studio. This has since evolved into another way to express the aesthetics that so inspire me.
My current work in progress is a series called 'Luminous London' and this is the place to find the Special Edition prints. The series will grow over time, and includes many of my best works yet.
