Shapeshifting was a common attribute of the Celtic goddesses and some of the gods. These semi-mythological characters, who adopted the form of an animal, were soon turned into art.
The inside of this very colorful letter ‘P’ is filled with animals and birds that seem to be swimming in different directions quite comfortably together. The background of this design is black which makes the colors of the creatures stand-out even more.
