This image was done as card art done for the Ice Age expansion of Magic: The Gathering. A roan Centaur with a white mane and heavy beard is rearing up raising a jeweled black bow to loose an arrow on the fly.

I wanted to keep the palette hot so I kept the colors primarily red/yellow and added blues for accents. This piece was done with dyes and color pencils. The background was airbrushed in.
