Chief "Seattle"?
Chief Sealth, also spelled Seathle, Seathl, or See-ahth, (pronounced 'SEE-al-th) was a leader of the Suquamish and Duwamish Native American tribes in what is now the U.S. state of Washington. White settlers mispronounced his name as "Seattle".

Beautiful sentiment in this piece, Nancy. Regardless of where the picture was taken, it fits perfectly with Chief Sealth (Seattle) message.

Thank you for your comment.
Tinaleepa- Thanks for providing the history information. I'm sure the majority of people who are not from the Pacific Northwest are not aware that Seattle(however one pronounces or spells the name) was a person, much less an important leader. The majority know the name as a city. Sadly, most names become distorted when they are 'translated' into another language - that goes for the Native Americans as well as hundreds of immigrants - language distortions happen going both directions. My only regret is that I had to use a photo from the South East (it was all I had available digitally) instead of the beautiful Pacific Northwest!! I think his message is terribly important. His wisdom is timeless -
