Welcome to Canemah Studios.
In my gallery you'll see images of animals friends and the landscapes that inspire, nourish and delight me.
Animals and the Natural world have always been of primary importance to me. I have great love and respect for the animals that share my life and gratitude for their presence.

I've been drawing, painting and photographing animals and the natural world for as long as I can remember. It all started with crayons and paper and progressed to cameras, paint, printmaking, sculpture and drawing. Sometimes I combine portions of the above media . For example, many of my black and white photographs are hand colored with photo oils and oil pastel.
Sometimes I collage my handmade paper with small drawings and paintings and then cover it with beeswax and pigment. For me the combining of media creates exciting new perspectives on a subject.
