In the past year I have been discovering these great places where I can show my art work. It is my first real chance to show what I can do to the public.
I went to college in Johnson State College, Vermont and graduated with a BA in 1987 and then continued to School Of Visual Arts, New York City. Their I graduated with a BFA in 1990. I also received The David Rhodes Award for Outstanding Accomplishment.
It was a difficult time after college. Computers weren't as great as they are today. And the market for art was very demanding. I had to make big choices then for my career. So I took computer courses, and then just took a job to start my life. Art had to wait for another opportunity to come about.
I actually gave up drawing for many years. Only in the last year and a half I began again. Finding places like this seems to have brought some purpose back to my work. Thanks for creating these great places.
