I made this as I was listening to Weird Al Yankovic on my boombox. He had sung about a can of cycle four in one of his songs. Phonetically this is how it came out in my 3D rendering software. Take some time to look at the graphic more closely and what you will see is each character has its own unique skin. The number 4 was rendered as glass with ray trace. I made this on either my top of the line i486 DX 4 100 MHz PC (new at the time) or on my AMD K6-2 500 MHz PC (also top of the line at the time). The colors of this logo are also ChromaDepth 3D compatible. What that means is anyone wearing ChromaDepth 3D glasses will see the warm colors (reds, oranges) appear to float off the "skin". Neutral colors (yellow, green, black) will appear to remain static in the middle. While cooler colors (blues, violets, purples) will look like they are sinking into the print. Certainly a conversation starter and a nifty party trick!
