Descripción de la tienda:

I was born in Anchorage and raised on a 75-foot fish tender in the Gulf of Alaska. I celebrated her 1973 graduation from the University of Alaska Fairbanks backpacking for four months across Europe, where I discovered English pubs, German beer and Irish men. Home again, I went to work for British Petroleum at Prudhoe Bay, made an obscene amount of money and went to Hawaii a lot. In 1982 in act of sheer insanity I quit to get an MFA from the University of Alaska Anchorage and write novels. My first science fiction novel, Second Star (1991) sank without a trace, my first crime fiction novel, A Cold Day for Murder (1993) won an Edgar award, my first thriller, Blindfold Game (2006) hit the NYT bestseller list, and my twenty-fifth novel and sixteenth Kate Shugak novel, Whisper to the Blood, comes out in February 2009.
