"Daruma-San" Posters

Darumas are these small egg shaped paper-mache dolls that are sold as good luck charms in Japan. With these dolls a wish is made upon them and one of the eyes, usually the left, is filled in using ink and a brush giving the Daruma sight. When the wish is fulfilled the other eye is then filled in. This image was originally done in graphic pen and watercolors.
