Denton County, Texas Crossed Flags Coffee Mug
by wesleyowns
The flags of Austin County and Texas.
The flag of Denton County is apparently based on the Falls County design, which it previously used, but employs a county seal in place of the rings of stars. A green oak and pecan wreath with red pecan nuts visible, bound by a red ribbon, surrounds a red star, the points of which are shaded. The inscription "Denton County, Texas 1846" appears between two yellow rings set around the wreath. The name of the county appears again on the fly. Although inquiries regarding this flag have gone unanswered, it has been in use since at least November, 2001.
