I really enjoyed my visit today there with my husband & lugnut. Hearing the history of the cat that he belonged to Miles H. from Yarnell, AZ was neat for my husband. moment to reflect on Pearl Harbor Day. Educating the cats...

Date December 7, 1941 Location Primarily Pearl Harbor, Hawaii Territory, United States Result Japanese major tactical victory United States declares war on the Empire of Japan Nazi Germany and Kingdom of Italy declare war on the United States.
For some of the survivors, now in their 80s or older, they may not be able to reflect...We honor the survivors and their families who are with us here today. We are taking a moment to reflect.

The Arizona sank in less than nine minutes after a bomb struck the battleship's deck and hit its ammunition magazine, igniting flames that engulfed the ship. The Arizona lost 1,177 men, 80% of its crew, more than any other ship. Altogether the Japanese killed 2,390 Americans and injured 1,178 others. Twelve ships were sunk and nine vessels were heavily damaged. More than 320 U.S. aircraft were destroyed or heavily damaged by the time the invading planes were done sweeping over military bases from Wheeler Field to Kaneohe Naval Air Station. For the purposes of history, survivors were asked to record their stories for the Pearl Harbor Survivors Fund. The stories are being made public at pearlharborstories.org

Believe it or not, shorthaired Virgil has had some concerns of coughing (hairballs? from licking brothers?)
and honeywheat Wyatt has been getting better after his painful moment.
and 1 day they will all 3 learn tarantula hawks are not to have fun with like they do with butterflies...They all hope you are having a sweet-filled day. I wish I could stroll them but my kidneys are hurting today;ow.
