I have a B.S. in Biochemistry & Cell Biology with a Visual Arts Minor in Film & Video from the University of California at San Diego. Personal Interests: I have focused mainly on oncology research. My works involves visiting medical clinics throughout North America. This work gave me an appreciation for creating a healing environment for patients and their caregivers that extends beyond medicine. In 2005, I started painting “cancer angels” and providing them to clinics, patients, and caregivers. Given the popularity of the images, I was inspired to start “DonnaBellas Angels” as a non-profit organization in 2007. DonnaBellas Angels provides inspirational and healing images to patients who have chronic or terminal illnesses and the patients' caregivers. Artistic Interests: I enjoy a wide variety of artistic mediums from photography to painting. My painting ranges from realistic to abstract, acrylic to watercolor.
