This mousepad documents the short but brilliant life of a night blooming evening primrose blossom. At 7:00 P.M. only the tight bud was visible with just a tiny yellow crack of petal showing. By 8:00 P.M. she was about half open. By 8:30 P.M. she was almost all open with her lovely crinkled deep yellow petals on display. At 8:00 A.M. the next morning she was a paler yellow and wide open. But an hour later, when she felt the full effect of the sun's rays, she died.
