The First Kiss (L'Amour et Psyché, Enfants) (1890). William-Adolphe Bouguereau (1825-1905). The First Kiss (detail) is a vintage Victorian mythology fine art realism painting featuring two angels, one kissing the other on the cheek. Although the correct title of the painting is L'Amour et Psyché, Enfants, it was incorrectly titled Le Premier Baiser (The First Kiss) and the name stuck.
