fast printing and shipping; mediocre print quality
About the product:
This is the second year that I've designed and ordered calendars from Zazzle. Both last year and this year, I made calendars with one large image per month; all pictures were taken with the same camera, in similar settings (outdoors, both landscape and macro shots), and photos were viewed and edited on the same computer. I was extremely happy with my first set of calendars (thus my decision to make another calendar this year using zazzle); however, this year the print quality did not meet my expectations. For some reason, in most of the images the colors appear more muted in the calendar than they do on the computer... something that did not happen with any of the images last year. This year's images look much sharper in their digital form, whereas there was no appreciable difference between last year's digital and printed versions. They aren't terrible, but I take pride in my photography and now feel like I have to distribute these calendars (Christmas gifts) with disclaimers...
